PlayMOps is a sole proprietorship run by Odd Morten Sørensen (PLAYMOPS ODD MORTEN SØRENSEN, org. no. 932 937 549), based in Trondheim, Norway. This page explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what your rights are. Questions about privacy go to privacy@playmops.io.
What we collect and why
When you book an intro call. The booking page uses HubSpot Meetings. You give your name, email address and, optionally, company and a short message. We use this to hold the meeting and follow up with you afterwards. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
When you email or message us. We keep the correspondence for as long as the conversation or any resulting engagement is active, and for up to 3 years afterwards for accounting and documentation purposes. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running the business (Article 6(1)(f)).
When you visit the website, with your consent. The cookie banner lets you choose per category:
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 and HubSpot to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and which content leads to a booking. This data is pseudonymised and we do not try to identify individual visitors from it.
- Advertisement. We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure the results of our LinkedIn campaigns and to show follow-up ads on LinkedIn to people who have visited this site. LinkedIn receives your visit and matches it against its own members. We do not receive your identity from LinkedIn, only aggregated campaign statistics.
- Functionality. Cookies that remember settings or enable extra features. We do not use any at the moment; the category is in the banner so your choice is recorded if we add such features later.
Legal basis for all three: consent (Article 6(1)(a)), given through the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the cookie icon in the bottom left corner. Until you consent, Google tags run in Consent Mode and receive no cookies or identifiers. Details are on the Cookies page.
Cookieless page statistics. Ahrefs Web Analytics counts page views without cookies or persistent identifiers. It is used to see which pages get traffic and does not require consent.
What we do not do. We do not sell personal data, we do not combine website data with data bought from third parties, and we do not run advertising on any platform other than LinkedIn based on your visit here.
Who we share data with
We use the following processors, all under data processing agreements:
- HubSpot (CRM, meeting booking, cookie banner). Data is stored in HubSpot's EU data centre.
- Google (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager). Configured with Consent Mode v2, so nothing identifying is collected before you consent.
- LinkedIn (Insight Tag), only if you accept the Advertisement category.
- Ahrefs (cookieless page statistics).
- Duda (website hosting and platform).
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where relevant, Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep data
- Meeting bookings and contact records: for as long as we are in dialogue, and for up to 3 years after the last contact, unless you ask us to delete them earlier.
- Analytics data: 14 months in Google Analytics, after which it is deleted automatically.
- Accounting records: 5 years, as required by Norwegian law.
Your rights
You can ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@playmops.io. We answer within 30 days.
If you believe we are handling your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet), www.datatilsynet.no.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when the way we handle data changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
