Strategic

Strategic Martech Advisory

When you need senior sparring, not someone to execute, but someone to help you make the right choices on vendor selection, RFPs, stack strategy, and in the rooms where decisions are made.

Project-based

Price on request
Scope per engagement

Advisory engagements are priced per project, scaled to the actual decision at hand — a vendor selection, an RFP process, implementation oversight, or facilitation across teams. Operational work can be included in the scope if needed.

Typical engagements
  • Vendor mapping and selection
  • RFP process from draft to decision
  • Stack audit with prioritized recommendations
  • Implementation oversight and quality assurance
  • Facilitation of decisions across teams
  • Senior sparring on standalone strategic choices
Best for
Teams facing a martech decision with significant stakes. Typically priced as a fixed-fee engagement, or as a series of advisory sprints over 2–8 weeks.
Operational

Marketing Ops For Hire

When you need someone to do the work: campaigns, data fixes, stack work, reporting. Choose the model that fits your workload.

FAQ

Things people usually ask

How does billing work? +

Hour bank is invoiced upfront, with hours logged and deducted as work is delivered.

Monthly retainer is invoiced monthly, with a specification of the work completed.

Fixed price follows payment milestones agreed upfront.

Payment terms: 14 days net.

What currency are invoices issued in? +

International clients are invoiced in EUR. Norwegian clients are invoiced in NOK. The exchange risk sits with me on NOK pricing — that's fair when predictability is the whole point.

Can I end a monthly retainer early? +

Monthly retainers run a minimum of three months, to create predictability for both sides. After that, you can cancel with 30 days' notice. No lock-in, no automatic renewal.

What's the difference between fixed price and hour bank? +

Fixed price is a set fee for a defined deliverable. You know the cost, I know the work. Works best when the scope is clear.

Hour bank is hours you draw down as needed, with no fixed endpoint. Works best when the work is exploratory or priorities shift.

Are there volume discounts? +

Short answer: no. The hourly rate reflects 22+ years of experience and full accountability for the work delivered. What you get with larger engagements is predictability, calendar priority, and deeper context — not a lower rate.

Retainer clients over time do get priority in my calendar, which is often worth more than a percentage off.

What's not included? +

Third-party costs — tool licenses, media spend, external vendors — are your responsibility and not part of the hourly rate. I can help map and negotiate, but I don't resell and don't mark up.

Travel costs are billed at cost if the engagement requires on-site presence. Most engagements run fully remote.

What if you need to be on-site? +

Most engagements run fully remote. If on-site presence is needed, travel costs are billed at cost (flights, accommodation, mileage). Travel time beyond one hour each way is billed at 50% of the standard rate.
